We obtain information about you to:

We track visitors on our website (landing pages, time spent watching demo videos, and the like). This information is anonymous. No personal information is collected and no data is given to third parties.
When you create an account without making any purchases, we only store your email address and your password (hashed). If you want to delete your account, please follow the instructions at the bottom of this page.
When you make a purchase, we only store information necessary to provide the service or the product, and what is required to comply with legal requirements. That information includes: Your full name, your address, your phone number, your email address, and your password (hashed). We do not store any sensitive billing details (such as credit card details).
We may collect some information regarding your use of our software from that software. This information includes your platform (Windows or MacOS; VST, AU, or AAX; 32-bit or 64-bit) and the version number of our software so we can offer you updates when available. This information is anonymous.
You can expect us to protect your privacy. Your information and the business you do with us is kept in strict confidence. Only authorized personnel have access to your information. We don't sell or give your information to third parties unless required for shipping or payment. We never have and we never will. Our procedures and systems are designed to protect your information from error, loss and unauthorized access. We keep your information only as long as it is needed. Your information is stored on a dedicated server in the United States of America.
You can give or withdraw your consent. We need to get your express or implied consent before obtaining or using information about you, or disclosing this information to anyone. (The exception is when we are required by law, or it is necessary for our protection.) Where permitted by law, your consent will be implied when you provide us with your information. You can withdraw this consent whenever you want, unless legal requirements prevent this.
Not allowing us to use information about you may mean we can't provide certain products or services, which may be of use to you.
You can review your information held by reFX, and make corrections to it. Your information is usually kept in your invoices. If you prefer, you can arrange to see it elsewhere.
You can choose not to receive direct marketing. We do not utilize telephone marketing. We may tell you about reFX products or services through email. On average, we send one email per month when a new product or update is released. If you no longer wish us to do so, you can either click on 'unsubscribe' in such an email, turn the 'email updates' switch on your profile page to off, or contact us via our ticket-system.
We may review and analyze your use of reFX products and services, including transactions in your accounts, to help protect you from unauthorized use of your accounts, to help us serve you better, and to tell you about other products and services.
Let us know that you don't want us to use information about you in any particular way, including uses described in this notice, by contacting via our ticket-system.
