As a great user of analog instruments, it is probably one of the first time, with a virtual synth such as the Nexus 2, that I can really compare the texture, the transients, the impact of the low range and the diversity of the sounds with what I find in an analog machine.The interface is easy to use, the arpeggiator is really cool, and the sounds find always their place in a mix.The Nexus 2 is already one of my favorite synths of all time!

I LOVE Nexus2 ...the presets are absolutely awesome.....and i love the very quick access to great sounding Reverbs & Delays....and best of all it's so easy to use. I've been using this thing for ages....and now with Nexus2...the reFX team have made it even better! For Dance & Electro it is THE BOMB, anyone wanting to make this type of music MUST have this!

The nexus-1 was already a great tool for producing my last album 'Twice in a Blue Moon'. Can't wait to get my hands on the Nexus-2. Absolutely one the best software-synth i had so far.

A soft synth for music producers globally, with expansions to cover every style of music, this is a must have for any budding producers or hit makers.

I love synths that I open, browes through the presets and already have tons of ideas for tracks. thats what I would call an inspirational instrument. a violist probably gets this feeling when he touchs a "Stradivari". With it's ease of use, Nexus² integrated perfectly in my existing setup. You got all essential sounds together (like in the good old rompler days) and you can edit and access the sounds quickly. Especially for creative brainstorming and melody finding, its a genius tool! You can integrate many sounds into your productions "as they are", since they already fit in the mix very well. The outstanding and flexible arpeggiator is the cherry on the top...

NEXUS is truly MIND BLOWING. I have never heard sounds like these before. Not only the quality of the sound, but also the quality level and attention to detail with how easy it is to use the product and truly in less then minutes you can create your very own sounds and presets. I mostly started composing for Feature Film production as well as composing electro and trance . . and now with NEXUS offering more expansions I'll have everything I need in one software. I have produced clubmusic since 1991, where we used Ataris with 1MB RAM. I never thought virtual Instruments could substitute "Real" synths. With the release of reFx´s Vanguard i changed my mind, I always found that you cant top it, especially in any kind of Dancemusic.

You are going to install this synth and get using these sounds in your tracks straight away, and very little additional processing is necessary. It's also great to find a built in reverb that is so smooth and rivals good quality hardware reverbs. In a digital sample-based synth, the raw currency is good quality samples. Rather than see how many gigs they could fill with average samples, it feels like a proper RD team has put the kind of energy into the plugin that a big hardware synth manufacturer would have in the past. Something I feel that's been missing from the virtual synth world.

NEXUS is THE highly tweakable "preset machine" I've been waiting for...I love software with total recall and the sounds of Nexus are easily on par with the hardware I have. I'll be definitely using Nexus in my future productions, just going thru a fraction of the basic presets I already found several sounds that I bookmarked and with the expansions there seems to be very few limits to this thing.

The design of Nexus is very clear and transparent. FX, sounds (incl. expansions), filter etc... are just awesome.Since the purchase I have used it in every production... I can not imaging working without Nexus any more.

Nexus convinced me from the first moment I played with it. The superb quality of the sounds and the quick access to the "up to date" library make our production life a lot easier.The presets are ready to use, and let us use them with just little but sensible modifications in the way we want. I've used quite a few reFX things for my latest productions so I always check their site and saw this thing called "NEXUS". It's really amazing because it's so hands on! Most presets are usuable instantly and the editing is simple and effective. It's the most impressive synth I've installed in the last year.

reFX's SLAYER 2 is quite possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread. When I can't play a certain passage or phrase in my music or I want to expand my sound I can always count on SLAYER 2 to save the day and make the already daunting recording process streamlined and saves doing take after take to get a solo just right. The sound emulation is spot on and the quality for the dollar is second-to-none. Thank you guys for making an incredible product!

By the time I had my new toy, the Vanguard, I was not easy to impress. But the synth did not just amaze me, it blew me off my shoes!! The purity and complexity of the sounds is totally incredible, and it constitutes a small part of heaven for any electronic producer who wants only the best in sound and quality of their productions. Nexus has become great tool in our writing process. When I first tried Vanguard I was very impressed and used it on our first CD 'Seclusion'. As soon as Nexus was released I bought it and was not disappointed in the sound quality. At this point my studio is becoming more digital because of products like Nexus and Vanguard. Over the past few months we have been setting up our new studio, & have really researched the new products that we are buying & have to comment on this new addition from the refx guys.... the nexus is by far, superior to any other soft synths we have looked at & can honestly say that it is a very close competitor to our Virus TI. We have usually found soft synths to be very thin sounding & would only use them for the small jobs, however the after playing with the demo, we were stunned to find that the Nexus has a true depth to the sound & combined with functions like the fully programmable arpreggiator was a must have for the new studio. we have access to quite a lot of ReFX synthesizers, Including Slayer and Vanguard, But when we heard about nexus, we just HAD to buy it.there is so much there that can be used to make a a song turn into an ANTHEM.I personally fell in love with the "hardstyle" pack, as there is just so much there.It's good for absolutley anyone, a small producer, or a worldwide producer.It is gods way of saying "make music"
